This excursion will allow you to explore the Canadian Rockies with roundtrip transportation from Banff or Lake Louise.

Led by your guide, you’ll embark on a nature hike in Skoki Valley backcountry – a rarely-visited area treasured by locals. As you admire the pristine forests, creeks and mountain wildflower fields, you’ll understand why it was chosen as a travel destination by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011.

As a highlight to your trek, you’ll have a chance to see the turquoise high alpine lakes nestled among glacier-clad peaks.

The minimum age for participating in this tour is 12 years.

This tour offers several hiking options: the picturesque Hidden Lake Route; the Ptarmigan Lake via Boulder Pass; or the challenging and rarely-visited Redoubt Lake.

Hikes range from 10 km to 14 km roundtrip, with a total hiking time of approximately six hours and an elevation gain of approximately 300 metres. The guide will determine a route based on hiking conditions and group ability.
