Very disapointing I came with high expectations and they were not fullfiled:
1. The staff at the front desk were not friendly at all. I arrived after a long flight to Thiland and hardly a smile from any of the receptionists.
I was looking for some attractions to do and was looking through their book for about half an hour trying to decide what to choose. No one aproached or tried to help or offer advice. That happened twice.
2. It was my birthday, and a family member from
US waned to order a surprise cake for me. He called me up to ask if I got it, I had no idea what he was talking about, aperantly they just left it in the room fridge without notifying me at all + did no add the note he asked to print for me.
3. When I arrived I asked where can I change money. The receptionist said "turn right and walk 10 minutes" , the problem is after you start going right, there are 2options of turns and no one to ask as there is litrelly nothing around. They could be a bit more specific..
4. I had some ants in the room+ 2 baby spiders. I understand this is a tropical island and yet this is a 5 star resort.
5. There is no gegi milk option in the restaurant
for coffee. Only cow milk. I woul think in 2023 there ould be at least one other option for vegans.
6. There is more but I made my point..

My wife and I rate this beach experience as excellent for swimming (but not for surfing!), and although best not to swim at lower tides due to the exposed reef, medium and hight tides are excellent. It's safe , protected from the surf, and clean for kids and beginner swimmers. Best things are the great service provided by the KANTARY hotel (by a covered vehicle), departing every 15 minutes, and the free towels (for Kantary guests) and affordable restaurant at the Panwa Beach, located just over the hill.

Panwa Beach is very peaceful, away from the crowds, but not dead. There are people walking along the beach and a handful of bar/restaurants along the shore, but it isn't too loud or crazy at night. A nice peaceful getaway. As for the swimming, maybe not the best as the ground under the water along the beach seemed to have a lot of large rocks and other items in it. I wouldn't exactly recommend it for swimming. But for relaxing, boating, getting a few drinks, it's great. My recommendation would be to stay at a resort/hotel along Panwa and renting a car so that you can drive to other beaches for swimming, such as Ya Nui beach.

There was a small beach close to our apartment which was located next to Panwa Cape Viewpoint. This beach is very private, small but beautiful. Another bigger beach which is called Panwa Beach is close to the hotel Cape Panwa Hotel. There is regular free shuttle bus from Kantari Hotel to Cape Panwa Hotel, which is provides daily every 20 minutes.

Staff were very friendly , my room on the first njgt had a massive leak in the ceiling - so had a night of dripping sounds onto the floor. I requested a new room the next morning and was moved to a similar room ( with a less good view but no complaints there it was dry so that’s what counts).
Generally found the resort in need of a big update - looks and feels very dated.

Ao yon beach is small, peacefull, quite area. Sea experience 9/10 but dont forget to take sea shoe there is little amount of rock in the sea... beautifull beach and view... rent a longtail boat from the Village people for the islands around..
First of all the location is WOW. From the staff to the owner are AMAZING and very friendly. The rooms and the services as well as the breakfast which was our favorite, is 5⭐️ service without a doubt. It was our anniversary and the hotel owner prepared a surprise for my wife, it was something more than I expected. And they were so kind to invite us for dinner at their Restaurent Soul 1 which is a must visit. I can’t wait to go back again next year, I recommend anyone who is looking for serenity, this is THE place.
All staff extremely friendly and very helpful.
Paid washing machine and dryer available which was really convenient. A dryer rack also available on the balcony to hang clothes to dry.
I was upgraded to beachfront room which was even more beautiful than my original room. Easy access to pool and the beach from my room.
Full kitchen incl. Electric stovetop, microwave, toaster and kettle.
About an hour drive from phuket airport but the village life is nice and relaxing
We loved the pool. Marvelous view from the balconies. The friendliest and nicest staff you can wish for. For any transportation or transfers and day-trips ask for the Hotels driver - we had a wonderful time being brought around Phuket for sight-seeing, and super easy and comfortable transfers from and to our other destinations.
X10 at Panwa beach might be one of the few remaining calm spots on the Phuket Island - exactly what we were looking for.
all the staff were very friendly and helpful, room was large and cleaned daily also towels and sheets were changed daily; Breakfast was delicious with a great choice. The rooftop pool was great with amazing views and never crowded. Gardens are well looked after and the shuttle to Kantary Bay hotel was every 15 mins. We stayed for 3 weeks and wish we had booked longer, a credit to every member of staff.
The breakfast was good, with a small variety: milk+cereal, some Thai food, some ABF salad and fruits, coffee and tea. The beach was not for swimming but when the tide is high enough, one can go canoeing or paddle board to explore the mangrove area. The pool is not very big but efficient with a small area for the kids. The hotel also has a nice cafe and restaurant for lunch and dinner.
Location of the property is in very quite, lovely place with, amazing views. We have been on Phuket on low season and it was the best beach and best ocean condition we manage to find on low season, and we had a car and travel a lot. If you going to rent a car and going on low season it's the place to go. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, spacious and light.
Room is spacious and has separate sections within a room - a living room, a bedroom and a kitchen. Kitchenware is provided so you can cook! Plus microwave. Bathroom is huge and have both bath tub and shower box. Staffs are amazing and very helpful. Lastly, there is a hotel’s convenient store with 2-min walk with friendly price. So you can replenish your snacks easily!
gorgeous property, great breakfast, amazing staff, gym and spa were incredible and well priced for treatments. nothing was too much trouble.
you can easily walk to panwa beach for food and bars. just all around great really would highly recommend. definitely get a grab (Uber) to Phuket old town, was a highlight!
1⃣ The ocean view and sunrise were absolutely fantastic. The cool sea breeze made the temperature feel pleasant, not hot at all. 2⃣ The cable car elevator was truly impressive and added a unique touch to the experience. 3⃣ Although the breakfast at the hotel was not a buffet, it was delicious and satisfying.
The internal hotel transport was very efficient to get around the resort, the room was nice and good views especially from the pool.
Hotel facilities were great especially the Baba nest during sunset and various pools around the resort.
Breakfast options was great, lots to pick from.
Room was lovely with fab views (we were upgraded), pool area is great and the beach is also really nice. It is a beautiful setting in a quiet area of Phuket. Hotel offers a free, frequent shuttle bus into the local area - only 5mins away but a v steep hill otherwise!
peaceful. very local feel. relaxing place. recommend it. it’s more calm seas b west Phuket so a good contrast. nice food at Cove and up the hill lots to see around area if you walk. reef walking around to other beach is fun
A perfect hotel near the beach, with incredible sea view just outside the balcony. Good place to enjoy the sunset. Facilities and room are new and clean. Staff are very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay!
